Canada’s first ever National Health Ethics Week is being held this week, from March 2 to March 8, 2014. This event is being launched by the Canadian Bioethics Society (CBS), in collaboration with various organizations across Canada.
The goals are to:

  • Encourage the organization of events to raise awareness of ethics issues related to health and health care across Canada
  • Provide greater visibility for Canadian ethics committees, services and supports
  • Provide an opportunity for Canadians to engage in dialogue regarding current issues facing their communities

Veritas IRB Inc. would like to highlight the importance of this first-ever National Health Ethics Week by launching its new blog. This week’s blog postings will be dedicated to research participants. Other topics will be explored throughout the year.
