Veritas IRB Inc. is an accredited, experienced, and transparent Independent Review Board/Research Ethics Board (IRB/REB) committed to ensuring the safety and rights of research participants, the unbiased supervision of studies, and the conduct of research according to the highest standards of ethical and clinical practice.

The Veritas IRB Blog will cover questions of research ethics, clinical trial conduct, and human research participant protection primarily for sponsors, CROs and investigators/researchers. As

Veritas IRB Inc. is the only IRB/REB providing ethics review services in English and French, with members located in both Canada and the United States, we will also discuss regulatory differences between these two countries as well as some of the more specific provincial and state requirements for research.

Finally, from time to time we will post research participant outreach blogs – as we did during Canada’s inaugural National Health Ethics Week from March 2-8, 2014 – answering the types of questions received over the years from participants.
